Analysis and Distributed Control of Periodic Epidemic Processes

This article studies epidemic processes over discrete-time periodic time-varying networks. We focus on the susceptible-infected-susceptible (SIS) model that accounts for a (possibly) mutating virus. say an agent is in disease-free state if it not infected by Our objective to devise control strategy which ensures all agents network exponentially (respectively asymptotically) converge equilibrium (DFE). Toward this end, we first provide 1) sufficient conditions exponential (respectively, asymptotic) convergence DFE and 2) necessary condition asymptotic DFE. The global stability (GES) [respectively (GAS)] of terms joint spectral radius set suitably defined matrices, whereas GAS involves appropriately product matrices. Subsequently, leverage results order design distributed eradicating epidemic.
